The special desiccant for transformer is mainly used in XS2 type dehydrating breather. Its shape is granular. According to the degree of water absorption, the color changes from blue to light purple. When water absorption is saturated, it is light pink. It is convenient for substation maintenance personnel to inspect and observe daily. The main components are silica gel desiccant and a small amount of cobalt dichloride.
